Romance or no romance- it’s time to get social!

Updated: Feb 18, 2021

Did anyone see where January went? The year is off to a flying start.

Our team has been extremely busy in the boutique bottle shop and tasting room making sure that no one is getting thirsty in this heat… Please remember to serve your drinks cold and if you are having an event and scratching your head as to how you can keep your drinks chilled- we do have chiller trailers available!

It has been a real treat to welcome so many friendly faces back to Wanaka this January and now that the little people are nearly back in school, it’s time for the adults (both with and without children) to relax!

First things first, the 5th of February is NZ Rosé Day which is reason to celebrate- don’t you think? We have convinced our very own wine extraordinaire Sam to host a relaxing, drop in and complimentary tasting. Sam will be pouring 4 NZ Rosés that have appealed to his palate this season:

Fromm 2019- Marlborough,

Mahhi 2020- Marlborough

Black Barn 2020- Hawke’s Bay

Domain Road 2019- Bannockburn

This will be happening at PWSW this Friday from 5-7pm.

Next up, Valentine's Day is only 12 sleeps away… Want to give off the ‘I am so caring and organised vibe?’

Simple… Why not book one of our romantic hampers that includes: your choice of bubbles/wine paired with nibbles, hamper finery (crockery/ cutlery/ glassware) and a blanky- we now have these available for you to rent or purchase.

Just swing past the shop (park in our 5 min customer only park if it helps), pick it up, take it to the spot of your choice and voila- classic romance…

Also, don’t forget that we offer free delivery in Wanaka & Albert Town, so… If it happens to make things easier and make you look even better this Valentines, why don’t we bring it to you?

Wednesday the 24th February welcomes the first official tasting event of 2021 with Nanny Goat Vineyard from 7-9pm. The evening will be hosted by Alan Peters-Oswald - the winemaker and creator of the brand. Nanny Goat have been proudly making Central Otago wine for 15 years with the inaugural release in 2005. They are taking this opportunity to explore the past, present and future of Nanny Goat and what becoming the custodians of this Queensberry vineyard means to them.

Tickets are $50 & include nibbles.

If you have any questions please contact our team directly:

We look forward to seeing you all soon,

The team @PWSW
